Mixing bleach/ammonia will release chlorine gas. How much gas?. Say 1/2 cup of each - kill me if I am in a closet when I do it? Kill everyone in the house? Wipe out the neighborhood? Don't panic - I'm not planning on doing myself in.

The fumes will cause burning eyes and nasal passages .. It can be quite severe .. I know .. I made the mistake of doing it one time while cleaning the bathroom. I didn't even realize what I had done .. Until the fumes hit me .. And bam .. THEN I knew exactly what I had done ... Won't do that again! .. And FYI: I lived to tell the tale.
