Well, usually a Diabetic can take what is called Glucose Tablets to treat a low blood sugar . Any blood sugar that falls below 70 is considered low. Now some people say that blood sugar levels 70-99 is normal but i hear some doctors don't want patients going below 130 blood sugar.  I like to stay between 80-120 for it to be a normal blood sugar reading. Now i never heard of sugar-free tablets for Diabetics but i did hear about Glucose Tablets for Diabetics if they suffer a low blood sugar episode. You can buy them almost any place that carries pharmacy products .

Are sugar free tablets safe for diabetics?

Recent studies suggest that artificial sweeteners are no longer the healthy alternatives to sugar. In fact, they may increase your risk for diabetes and weight gain. Try stevia, if you're looking for a healthier
alternative. Based on research to date, this alternative sweetener is
one of your better options.
