Yes, it can and will if you use it long enough.
In order to reduce/minimize the detrimental effect of ascorbic acid on your teeth, you can take a number of measures, such as:
- rinse your mouth thoroughly with water after drinking the ascorbic acid solution
- add baking soda to the ascorbic acid drink to neutralize the acid
- drink the acidic solution through a straw. This will reduce the contact with your teeth.
- fill the ascorbic acid powder in gelatin capsules. This will prevent all contact between the acid and your teeth
