The Membership Examination of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) is offered to students who participate in the individually supervised practice courses under the Directorship of Mr. Khaldoun Sharif, MD, FRCOG, MFFP, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at the Birmingham women's Hospital, UK.
Students from anywhere in the world can study Obstetrics and Gynaecology under Dr. Sharif's direction. Week-end courses are held in London, Birmingham and Dubai. Successful completion of the courses allows students to take the MRCOG examination Part 1 and Part 2.
Some course work requires written Correspondence and other courses require active practice on Week-ends. Six monthly DRCOG Courses are held in London, and in Birmingham for General Practice trainees who are preparing for the RCGO examination. Books written by Dr. Sharif are required for the courses they are the MRCOG Oral Assessment Examination; the MRCOG Survival Guide, 2nd Edition; The Clinical Obstetrics & Gynaecology:MCQ for MRCOG Part 2; Basic Science in Obstetrics & Gynaecology:MCQ for MRCOG Part 1 and MRCOG Short Essay Questions.
First, students must go to the website and book their place in the course. Then they will be able to participate in the Part 1, Week-end courses in London or Birmingham. All information needed is done through correspondence through the Website and arrangements for the examinations must be made at least one month prior to the examinations, which usually are given in February and August. The links to each course section, correspondence and other information can be found in the navigation bar on the website. The fees are listed for each course and for each examination. All the information to be covered under each course is listed on the site and sample exam questions are provided once someone is signed up for the courses.

www.mrcog2.co.uk the site for Whittington Hospital, in London and they offer a course to prepare for Part 2 of MRCOG. You can contact them direct or through the website to learn if they also offer such a course for Part 1.
