My mom who turned 80 on the 4th of jan had a stroke a week ago 8 days. Later they say she has had 10 mini strokes since then.... Does this mean her heart is giving out. How long can one person live with mini strokes several times aday. Does it make your heart weaker?

It just depends on what kind of damage the strokes have done to the person.I am dealing with a situation now.my dad had a massive stroke last week and we about lost him.his brain started swelling.they gave him some manitol which unswells the brain and it worked.he can't move his left side at all.he was in good condition and it hit him all at once.
