I Get Out Of Breath, Particularly When I Bend Down Or Have To Walk Uphill. I Have Been Told I Have A Problem With My Diaphragm - Why Would This Cause Me To Be Out Of Breath?

I disagree that you could be out of shape. I work out regularly, and I have the same problem. Actually, I've been on line trying to find an answer before going to the doctor. I have spasmodic asthma which may be part of the problem...

I think the biggest problem is that you are out of shape.

It is normal to be out of breath after walking up hill. It is also normal to be a little out of breath after bending over. If you ever noticed, you don't breath when you bend over quickly; you hold your breath.
