Well I had sinus and cold like symptoms when I was pregnant with all three of my girls, but not my 2 boys. Infact it was so bad I was on antibiotics all 3 times only to find out 2 weeks later that I was 8 weeks pregnant each time. Prior to this home tests showed negative. There was an absence of fever though, just the pain, runny nose, stiff neck and horrible discomfort in that region that lasted a week and a half even affecting my teeth an seeming to come out of nowhere. So I think we are all different and I'd say trust your instincts and also check in with doctor.

Mom of five and possible one on the way.

I am trying to concieve my fourth child, though I am not due for my period untill next week, I woke up with sinus problems today. When I was pregnant with my three children I always ended up with a sinus infection or cold in the beggining. Its confusing to me because its not considered a sign of pregnancy for everyone, but it seems to be for me, I'll just have to wait and see.

It is common during pregnancy for women to suffer from sinus problems. Runny nose, blocked nose, sinus infections are all symptoms. However, because it is a symptom it doesn't mean you are pregant. Sinus problems occur from many other things, allergies being the main cause.

If you're worried about being pregnant, get a test done. It won't hurt to know eitherway. Plus if you are not pregnant, you can narrow down why you are getting reoccuring sinus problems.

First things first, see a doctor to have a discussion about whether or not it's just allergies, or hayfever. Not every pregnant woman experiences a sinus problem when she is pregnant.

Those that usually do develop a problem usually complain more about the smell of something, and it perhaps makes her nausious, or even to vomit from the smell of something.

If it turns out that it isn't allergies, then perhaps you could have a pregnancy test done. I would recommend that you have it done at the doctors office, the home tests aren't always the most reliable. Hope this helps.

It's not a sign of pregnancy but it can be a symptom of pregnancy. depending on how far a woman is along depends on whether this is true or not. Allergies are really bad this time of year though so don't jump to any conclusions :) see a doctor.

I think that I am pregnant. I just did my first round of 50mg of clomid and can't test until the 31st. I suddenly came down with a sinus issue of some sort two days ago. I am thinking this could be a sign! Or at least I'm hoping!

It's not a sign but it can be a symtpom. Sinus probles affect many pregnant women.

It's certainly not a sign of stress alone.
