To keep your self healthy, it is essential to take care of your diet. You should also do regular work out. Your diet should be balanced. Go to physician for routine check up. Try to find out what your body lacks. Try to eat fruits or drink home made fruit juices. Do not add any thing to your juice, keep it natural. Water is very good for health it has an amount of oxygen, which can make you feel better when you are exhausted.

Reduce alcohol and smoking if you are addicted to it. It can lead cancer. Try swimming as it supposed to be the best cardio vascular work outs of any kind. You can go to the market on foot, if you think that it is on a walk able distance. You can also take up a sport as your hobby.

For keeping your self healthy and fit you must, wake up in morning early and do some light exercise then have a nice breakfast with some good Calories intake. Keep away from any kind of stress and depression.You must cut any intake of alcohol and smoking.

Plan your meals.  Eliminate/minimize your amount of animal product intake.  Educate yourself on nutrition and fitness.  Take your vitamins.  Sleep at least 7 hours a night.  Eliminate/minimize toxic substances from your life.  Have fun.  Do what you love.  Surround yourself with those who make you smile.  Distance yourself from those who wreak havoc on your natural level of peace.  Brush and floss.  Wash and exfoliate your skin.  Moisturize.  Plan your meals.  Buy groceries and cook.  Dance.  Listen to music that moves you.  Allow yourself to take in the scenery around you, wherever you are.  Make an effort to get out of your comfort zone-do things you are afraid of.  Read good books like The Power of Now, The Artist Way, The Four Agreements.  Seek self betterment.  Learn from others.  Do not try to be right all the time.

I have no idea how old you are, but I have had both unhealthy and healthy habits in my 68 years.

I used to eat and drink too much, and exercise too little. Now I eat right (South Beach works best for me), drink no alcohol (I think, like my parents before me and two of my five children, I'm probably a "friend of Bill"; if you're not, cutting out all alcohol entirely isn't mandatory, and I exercise an hour to start each day (Jazzercise).

The good news is that I didn't start doing this seriously until two years ago and my cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar readings, which were out of line before, are terrific. And, I take no medications.

Bragging!?! Perhaps, but my underlying message is one of hope. It's never too late to start. You know what's healthy. That hard part isn't knowing it, but in beginning and sticking to a plan that's healthy for you. Cheating a little is also important. No one wants to give up bagels and desserts for life...I indulge daily in a piece or two of dark chocolate and occasionally and, yes, on purpose, blow my diet entirely and eat everything in sight. This actually helps me stick to my healthier life style. For starters, I feel pretty crappy after I overindulge.

I guess what I'm saying is that it's never too late to start doing what's right for your body. Sans illness, this intricate physical machine we inhabit is a wonder at at recovery.
