I had a miscarriage at the end of november at about 7 weeks along. I had an ultrasound the day after the cycle (bleeding) had stopped that showed me that everything was cleaned out. My fiance and I had sex the following day. I found out on jan 10th that I am pragnant and the doctor thinks about 8 weeks, So I pretty much got pregnant again right off the bat. I think I'm a week behind what he says he just used one of  those date wheels to determine how far along I am. But I know that as of Nov 29 I was no longer pregnant so the dates only match to be 7 weeks along not into the eighth or ninth like the pregnancy book states. So yes it is possible so get pregnant quickly after a miscarriage, extremely quick in our case. This will be my 3rd pregnancy (had 2 miscarriages) but this one feels so different eg. Lots of nausea, so everyone keeps telling me thats a good sign of this one pulling through.

I m/c oct 23rd to the exact date... 5 days of bleeding...I didnt even know I was pregnant, I had been about 7 to 8 weeks at the least.  The second week in November I had every pregnancy symptom; nausea, frequent urination, breast tenderness, mood swings... I took a test a week ago- I am pregnant about 5 1/2-6weeks as of today (12/5/09)! I was shocked, didnt think it could happen so soon!  but it can, and there is nothing wrong with trying right after m/c, although I would recommend time to heal emotionally because it is such a sad loss and is so heartbreaking!  Hang in there & Good Luck!

Don't have D&C unless you have signs of your body trying to 'get rid' of the fetus. I had a friend who'se doc told her there was no heartbeat and the fetus was dead. She opted to carry the 'dead' fetus for 2 weeks before going back to the doctor... She was scared of the  D&C procedure... When she went back and they did another ultrasound lo and behold a strong heartbeat and a healthy fetus.
No idea if the first time the doc wasn't looking hard enough, or if the heart did actually stop beating and then resume again. We will never really know. But don't be too hasty when making those kind of decisions... Your body knows how to take care of itself and your offspring.. I wouldn't D&C unless I was having other signs of miscarriage.. Don't take docs words for truths.. They are ALWAYS an opinion.. There are no absolutes in this life.

I had a miscarriage 1 month ago and even though it may seem dumb to people but we are trying again and I haven't got my period yet or anything but I am just hoping this time around I wish the best for you and just know your not alone at all.

unprotected sex. Ive lost a baby 3 months ago. Doctor said wait to you get a normal period and
try again on the next month, providing that its ok with the doctor if you have had any problems.
