I'm 14 and 5' 6''  135 pounds and I max out at 135, I would say you should be able to lift close to your body weight but I lifted less than my body weight a year ago so it all depends on how much you weight train.

3/4 of these kids are 100% full  of s#*t.  I am pretty strong and I'm 14 weighing 140lb.  I just started benching and right now I can bench 125 10x I can probably max out in between 150 and 175.   You should be able to  bench your body weight.  If your strong you probably can max 10 - 30lb more than your body weight.  Unless if you are very experienced you basically can't bench more than that.

Actually it has nothing to do with height at all...it has to do with his muscle mass.....there are 14 yr olds who are like 6 foot and never worked out a day in their life and wont be able to lift more than a 14 year old who is only 5,5 and been workout out for a long time.

I'm 13 almost 14 5'1'' and 102 lbs and I max out at 135 but ive been working out a lot for 2 months I would say a 14 year old 5'8'' 120 lbs should bench there body weight at least and 30+lbs over it if they work out a lot.

You guys are all scrawny I'm 14 almost 15 5 foot 7 and I max out at 175 on bench and 255 on squat. Stop sitting around asking questions you know the answers too. Go out to and gym and gain some muscle.

I'm exactly your age and weight+height.

I've been lifting ever since I was 12.

I increased steadily until at 14, you gain natural muscle, and right now I can rep 165 10 times and I max out 190.

I'm 15 weigh 100 and bench 110, squat 280
so your bench for you really is (
well depending on how much you lift but) around your body weigh or a little bit
more would be good to start with.

I'm 14, I'm 5'8 and I can bench 85 lbs 15 times. I have been lifting for a year but have gained no upper body stregth at all in that ammount of time. I don't now how to fix that. Maybe I should get protein shakes.

Try going for higher weight lower reps. bench isn't the most important thing really

It depends how long you have been benching, I have been benching since I was twelve, at that time I started with 50 lbs now I am 14 years old 5'9 and I bench 210 and my max is 240. If you are 14 and this is your first time benching then I recommend that you start out with 80 to 100 lbs at most, then as you go on start to work your way up.
