I would say that yes, Tylenol with codeine will act much the same as a Vicodin or Norco capsule.
Normally the combination of Tylenol with codeine is used to relive moderate to severe pain, as are Vicodin and Norco.

Tylenol with codeine Vs Norco
- Tylenol with codeine, Norco and Vicodin are all painkilling opiates.
- Tylenol contains acetaminophen - a slightly less-potent opiate which accelerates and heightens the effects of the codeine already in the mixture.
- Vicodin also contains acetaminophen, although in this case it is mixed with hydrocodone (a semi-synthetic opiate derived from codeine and thebaine).
- Norco, like Vicodin, is also a mixture of acetaminophen and hydrocodone.
- In Tylenol the acetaminophen is mixed with the naturally-occurring substance codeine, but both Norco and Vicodin use the semi-synthetic hydrocodone as the main opiate.
- They all have much the same painkilling effect in the body and all will cause the user to fail a drug screening. This is because of the presence of opiates in these medications.
