I Have Used Cocaine And Have A Hole In My Nose. Will This Heal By Itself? Is There Any Medicine I Should Use? If It Won't Heal, Is There Surgery To Get My Nose Back To Normal?

No, there is no medication to cure this problem, nor will your nose heal by itself. Unfortunately the only way to repair this condition is with surgery.

Also, if you start taking cocaine again, this will only cause further problems to your nose and your general health.

Cocaine is produced from the leaves of the coca plant. It's an illegal stimulant that produces large amounts of the naturally-occurring chemical, dopamine in the brain.

Dopamine is the substance responsible for feelings of reward, motivation, pleasure and, in large doses, euphoria.
How to heal a hole in the nose from cocaine use...
Many employers and the justice system will perform drug tests when you apply for a new job or apply for parole etc.

  • Urine screenings are the most commonly-used form of drug testing. Cocaine can be detected within a urine sample for up to one month after the user last took the drug.
  • Blood tests can also be used, and are accurate up to twenty-four hours after the drug was used.
  • Mouth swab testing looks for evidence of cocaine use in a person's saliva. This form of screening will be able to detect cocaine use up to ten days after the last dosage.
  • Hair follicle testing is used by the authorities or an employer if a longer-term drug history is needed. This form of testing can detect cocaine use up to three months after the drug was last used.

The hole in your nose will not be treated automatically. No drug is available to fill the hole. Surgery is the only option.

It is good that you have stopped taking cocaine but restarting this drug will further increase complications.
