Cysts on the fallopian tubes is very common. Cysts do not mean cancer or can even mean you need to be in concern. Cysts are closed pockets of tissues that can be filled with air, fluid, pus, and other materials. Most cysts are not cancerous but should always be checked out by an O.B.G.Y.N or another qualified doctor. Risks of cysts on fallopian tubes are different for many people. It can depend on if you are pregnant at the time, trying to get pregnant, or just happen to have them. In rare but significant instances it can become cancerous. Most cysts are at the beginning stage and rarely ever cause complications. In some circumstances the cysts could rupture and cause internal bleeding and require immediate medical attention. Cysts can also cause infertility which can be temporary or permanent depending on the severity of the damage. Cysts may also cause Peritonitis which is inflammation of the mucus membrane which causes excruciating pain and in some cases resulting complications can be life threatening. Sometimes their is twisting of the ovary which is called Ovarian torsion which can lead to infertility, inflammation and septic shock. *This information should be taken solely on the discretion of whom it was written to and does not make up for seeing a qualified doctor.*
