I Have Aids, I Have A Staph Infection In My Fingernails, What Can I Do Besides Medication?

Your immune system will be weak due to AIDS and you are more prone to get infections. Along with topical and oral antibiotics, you can also do following.
  1. Soak your nail in hot water for 2-3 times a day.
  2. If the conditions are sever then visit a doctor who will cut and drain the wound.
  3. It is possible that part of the nail need to be removed.
  4. Protect your nails from chemicals and detergents.

See your doc. There is a pill form antibiotic for staph. I just went thrthis in march. He will most likely have to cut and pack. Sorry sweety, but the longer you wait the deeper he'll have to cut.

Tea tree oil -- use a qtip to apply & throw the qtip away! 1 end per finger (or sore) -- don't double-dip
