Sodium count is an important component of the Blood test results. A little variation from the normal range can help in diagnosis of several diseases.

Sodium count varies from person to person depending on various factors. However, the normal count for Sodium in Blood is 135 - 145 mEq/L. According to this range, your Sodium count is low.

Low Sodium count can be a cause of several diseases. Such as Hypoadrenalism, Diuretics, Diarrhea, Siadh, Loss of body fluids, Hypothyroidism, Salt losing Nephrophathy etc. All these diseases can take on a serious form if not treated properly. I would advise you to consult a doctor as soon as possible for proper diagnosis and treatment.
