What you need to do is exercise. Even if your Body Mass Index states that you are a good weight, exercising can give you energy, and can make you feel better about yourself. Also, eating food is correct portions helps maintain a healthy weight. I was told by a nutritionist that your body generally craves what it needs. Where you get into trouble is when you eat to much of it. Sugar cravings are really an addiction, so saying that to get a slice of pie after dinner won't help you.
If you crave meat, then eat meat, just not a mountain of it.
The major problem with obesity, is that people that are overweight get depressed about it, instead of empowering themselves. They feel as if it is the end. So they eat more to feel better, since eating helps people go to "Their happy place"
The other end is thin people you gain an ounce and then stop eating for a month.
