It depends ... I know you can go to them and ask them for some type of insurance till you turn 21 and everything should be free if you qualify
Planned Parenthood gives out free birth control. They may require you to have a gyn exam but they will provide that also. But the best way to find out what services your local office provides is to call them. I guarantee the people there will be helpful and nonjudgmental. Good luck
I can't say I'm happy about your decision, but I am happy to see your taking responsibility for it. Some planned parenthood centers charge a minimum, some are free. It depends on how much your area receives in government funding. You would get much more accurate info from your local Human Resources agency. There are some programs they provide besides Planned Parenthood, discounted medical care and the like. They will even assign you a caseworker for your future needs. Have you tried talking to mom, and asking her for financial help? You may be surprised at her willingness to be involved with your decision. Good Luck Darlin.
First of all, I must tell you I am too old to take the pill, but when I went to the govt hospital years ago, I was given the pills free. Actually, medicines are being given free in govt. Hospitals depending on capability to pay. The gyne exam is also free.
I hope you understand that the pill does not give protection against STD.

I don't know anything about planned parenthood.... I do know that my local health department hands out free birth control after you have a pap smear done. My health department goes by income and at your age I think they would give that for free because they'll hand out condoms like balloons at a b day party... Anyway, most parents will understand that you are trying to prevent pregnancy... My mom wanted to kill me when I told her, but she was glad that I wanted to protect myself. Don't just use birth control though it isn't 100% and id doesn't protect against std's.
I don't know never really thought about it and I don't take Birthcontrol pills
I have heard about planned parent having this thing where they wave the fees.
I am pretty sure ours is free and that if you absolutely need insurance they give it to you and you can always mail it to my house or someone else's depending when you get it of course
