The guidance and counseling are important activities in the organizational setting. Guidance and counseling are the concepts which are usually implemented by the human resource department in the organization. Guidance and counseling are provided to those employees who either seek training or need improvement in their functional tasks or management related tasks. Sometimes counseling and guidance are provided by the senior employees or sometimes outside mentors are hired to train and guide employees. Sometimes in the cases of bad records or when employee show some undesirable behavior, guidance and counseling are also offered.
