Dogs can show false pregnancy symptoms. These symptoms appear 1-3 months after last heat cycle. Common reasons of false pregnancy in dogs are hormonal changes during last estrus. High prolactin levels due to under active thyroid gland is another cause. False pregnancy symptoms include early pregnancy symptoms, depression and lethargy.
