Transitioning from conventional foods to a grain-free Paleo lifestyle can be a daunting proposition to most people. All the best...

Paleo Brands sells complete Paleo meals ready to heat and eat. The ingredients are not only 100% Paleo-compliant, but they are delicious! Try the almond crusted cod, or the beef curry.

The meals come delivered frozen, so there is no need to worry about preservatives. Shipping is free and, at about $6 a meal, they are relatively economical. They also sell some snacks in the form of Paleo cookies and grass-fed jerky.

You are making a step in the right direction, and will change the rest of your life and change the way you look at food - and what manufacturers try and pass off as food. Good for you.

I like the Practical Paleo book. You can also go to Civilized Caveman and look at all his recipes. I would stay away from his desserts though.

All you really need to do is eat grass-fed meat, eggs, bacon, and vegetables. It's not that hard.

I could have sworn I answered this a couple days ago, oh well, Natalie made two good recommendations already so let me add a couple.

I find mine on Pinterest and pin them to my Paleo Lifestyle board so I can find them later and I use Flipboard which is a free app you can get at the AppleStore or GooglePlay. I've got possibly a couple hundred Paleo recipes on mine and I cook with my iPad in the kitchen.

The paleo diet does work, in terms of feeling more energized or losing weight, or just trying to eat healthier in general.

On the diet, you will be eliminating fructose, carbohydrates and grains which lead to excessive body fat, obesity and health related issues. Since these ingredients are not found in the diet, it will be a lot easier to lose weight.

The paleo diet is also very effective for reducing blood pressure, cholesterol and triglyceride levels (since fructose plays a role in hypertension). Simply cutting out fructose and grains from your diet is very beneficial and lowers your risk of having health related issues.

Cons:
Since you will be eliminating grains and dairy products from your diet, experts worry that you won't be receiving the adequate amount of daily nutrients needed to function properly.

Others also argue that there is no evidence to support the theory of benefiting from eliminating grains. In China, before they were introduced to the modern western diet, they ate a largely vegetarian diet grounded in rice and noodles without any problems.
