I think what you mean is 'cortisone' cream, it really does sound like 'quarterzone'.
Cortisone cream is a topical steroid that you put on your skin to treat swelling, redness, itching and other inflammations
It is commonly sold over the counter to treat eczema, psoriasis, nappy rash, dandruff, dermatitis, insect stings and poison ivy rash. It's one of the main ingredients in hemorrhoid cream and it is also rubbed into swollen joints to treat arthritis. Don't use it for long periods of time or on your face though, it will cause thinning and dryness of the skin.
The generic name is hydrocortisone and the stronger prescription grade is given to patients as pills and injections. This strong hydrocortisone has been used in the treatment of different cancers, lymphoma, leukaemia and multiple myeloma.
