Sprints can help. Here's a few options: Shuttle runs, ladders, hill sprints, 50, 100, 200 & 400m options (best done at a track)

Sprints are great for explosive power (which is great for hockey) because of the muscular development, but since each step is pushing the body forward the connective tissue of the hip, knee, and ankle all develope as well.
