Wake up
There are many things you can try on your own, such as changing your sleep position, avoiding alcohol, etc.

My husband has great success with nasal strips. If none of these work, see your doctor for a diagnosis. Sleep apnea can cause serious health consequences.
You should have a healthy weight and diet and you should consult a doctor as well. Avoiding alcohol before sleeping and quitting smoking can help you plus sleep on your side to avoid snoring and keep your nasal passages clear.
Long interruptions while sleeping, frequent waking while sleeping, day-time sleeping, fatigue, strain on the heart, low oxygen level in blood and obesity can also lead to snoring.
You can consult to a doctor or you can use some masks which are available in the market to stop snoring.
Snoring is not a big problem for your health but it always causes annoyance to other people.
To get rid of this problem, you can try some home remedies that I highly recommend below.
1. Peppermint
- Take 2 drops of oil into some water and gargle before bedtime. Do not swallow the solution and perform daily until there are improvements.
- Take some drops of peppermint or eucalyptus oil into the humidifier for 30 minutes before bedtime and let the humidifier run overnight. Do this so your airways can open and avoid snoring.
- Take some peppermint oil to rub on the lower side of noses before bedtime.
2. Olive Oil
- Take 2 to 3 sips of oil before bedtime every day.
- Take ½ teaspoon of olive oil with ½ teaspoon of honey and consume every day before bedtime.
- Warm up some clarifies butter in the microwave.
- Use the dropper to put the butter liquid into your nostrils.
- Perform every day before bedtime and in the morning after waking up.
