Walking. I walk a lot, especially in the snow.

No. There are so many better less boring alternatives like galloping, skateboarding, rollerblading, etc!

I used to love running and it's something I still miss. Like Walter, creaky joints no longer allow it -- but I still walk as much as I can.

Depends on how tired the bear is that is chasing me!

I prefer running to keep the heart rate up, but until I drop another 20lb I mix it up with walking . . .

Walking or Running will not help you with Zombies . . . They never stop!

Walking. I have a lot of friends who were runners. A good number of them have had knee replacement surgery in their early 40's. Most have found other sports that are less damaging like biking or swimming.

It's really hard for me to compare both? I'm a huge football fan and running is one of my things, but definitely like to take some nice walks around the nature to rest after a tought game.
