I am unhappy about my weight gain. No reason for it, not health. However, I have gained a lot in my stomach area. Do you have any suggestions how I can get on the ball and lose some of this weight?

Get up and walk. Just 30 minutes a day can fo wonders. Don't worry about the distance. Just walk for 15 minutes in one direction and then turn around and walk back. If you need to break it up into two 15 minute walks or three 10 minute walks, it won't matter. As long as you get 30 minutes a day in.

And eat a well balanced and properly portioned diet.
