I Got Bumps In The Back Of My Neck And Barbers Tell Me Its Razor Bumps, Is It True?

I have had these for about three years now and sometimes they itch and sometimes they don't
I have not gone to check them out I've grown worried cause they have continued to spread what can they be they look all bunched up and they are only in the back of my neck lower head area I've been told that they are razor bumps but it looks much worse and I've been told that they are so called stress bumps
