My Mother Has A 3-4mm Aneurysm Within The Cavernous Carotid On The Right. What Is Considered Small, Medium, And Large And When Should Surgery Be Considered?

I have the same condition. The Neurologist I go to told me that he will opperate on it if I start getting Dipolia (double vission), this indicates that the aneurysm is growing.  Also, this area is near nerves that run along the skull and can cause headaches, dizziness, vertigo, and in some cases "falling spells"  that cause the patient to fall/ unable to stand fro about 30 secs. But basically, they only want to consider surgery if the aneurysm indicates growth.
