I think one tampon lasts about 4 to 6 hours, so to be safe change it every 4 hours so for 24 hours the average is about 6. =]
But obviously if you left it in for 6 hours, you would only need 4 for 24 hours.

That depends on the absorbency level of the tampons..the rule is if you soak more than two pads in one hour ...for two hours or more.. Something might be wrong..but I do not know how pads would compare to tampons
