THE MORNING AFTER PILL: A small circle shaped tablet wrapped in silver foil and within a box package which also includes leaflets on how to take the morning after pill. This is used the MORNING after you have had sexual intercourse [sex]. That is the reason why it is called The Morning After Pill!

Your friend 'Evey' thought about something else which is a little bit similiar but this is called 'The Pill'. The Pill is taken everyday to avoid the female gettin pregnant. When the pill is being used it can have an effect on your period which stops pregnancy. If the female stops taking the pill then there is more chance of pregnancy!

Thankyou! :)

The morning after pill is a small whit flat round pill. This pill is usually packed in a silver kind of wrapping. Each strip has only two tablets in it. The outer packing is a box that has blue green and purple colour on it.

The morning after pill is also known as emergency contraception (EC), also known as Emergency Birth Control (EBC) and Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC), or postcoital contraception. This tablet is usually consumed or taken within 72 hours of sexual intercourse occurring. If it is taken after sex then it can prevent pregnancy. In order words it puts a stop to ovulation or fertilisation and probably post-fertilisation implantation of a blastocyst (embryo).
