The best remedy for bleeding gums is to make a saline solution using salt and warm water and rinse your gums daily with this solution. You can do this twice a day, in the morning as well in the evening or at night, before going to bed. Bleeding of the gums happens because of a disease called gingivitis. There are usually bacteria in the regions on and around your teeth. If you do not clean your teeth regularly, the bacteria can cause the formation of plaque. Once the plaque forms, it causes the bacteria to regenerate even more rapidly than they normally do, and this results in toxins being secreted. The toxins irritate the gums, which leads to swelling and subsequent bleeding.

Other good ways of controlling the bleeding include placing a clove in your mouth and chewing on it. The oil of the clove is very good for your teeth. You could also rub clove oil directly on your gums. Another option is to use toothpaste that contains different herbal ingredients such as peppermint oil, sage oil, etc. that are good for your teeth and gums. Other ways include eating low-fat food and also using anti-bacterial mouth wash. Do remember that you must consult a doctor the moment you see bleeding in your gums. Gingivitis, if left untreated, can lead to periodontitis.

Bleeding gums is the symptom of gingivitis, which is a deterioiration of the gum tissue due generally to persistent bacterial inflammation.  SO the treatment will be to treat the underlying gum disease, rather than only the symptom of halitosis.

Some of the treatments include:  Root scraping (where the teeth roots are scraped clean of plaque), regular brushing and flossing, and sometimes oral rinses that inhibit bacterial growth until the gums can heal.  Here is a site that will provide you with more information, but it would be most important for you to go see a dentist for professional treatment of the gums so that they become healthy once again.  Good luck.

Bleeding gums is a sign of gingivitis indeed. Try washing mouth out with peroxide or peroxide based mouth wash, brush with a gentle brush, 3 times a day and wash mouth out with warm salt water for the bleeding. Don't forget to brush tongue and roof of mouth also.
