Somewhere between a mosquito bite and a bee sting, but it only hurts for a few seconds. Taking it out is no biggie. Barely feel that.
If you are worried when the time comes just don't look, it is in before you know it.

Just a little sting but very quick. When they take it out, it's just a plastic little tube so it's not painful and can't feel it

An Iv is not as bad as you think I mean their is worst pain out there,, it is in before you know it and you don't feel it that much its a cross between a mosquito bite and a bee sting but realy short. But if you don't think of it hurting it wont.

You actually cannot feel the iv being put in if you have numbing medicine...I myself am paranoid by needle injections and shots, when I went to the hospital, I was so scared, they had to give me sleep medicine so I would fall asleep, so then they could put the iv in...yeah...to me, it kind of killed when they took the iv out, but that is just because I was thinking about I hurting so much
