Could Black Mold Poisoning Cause Pneumonia Or Be Misdiagonised As Pneumonia?

I have been poisoned too. Since, I have done a lot of research on the internet, next I'll hit the library. It definitely sounds like mold is your offender. Watch your symptoms, there are many you may not be recognizing. I came across some possible medication (oral imdazole derivatives) for the treatment of neurological mold poisoning. Nothing else has surfaced. If you are experiencing, headaches, slurred speech, personality changes, memory loss, depression, disorientation, sudden mood swings, dizziness/vertigo, trouble making decisions, or unclear thinking, this may be something for you to explore too. Absolutely! I went into a hospital for an un-related abdominal x-ray while living in a place that was so full of mold, it looked like dirt everywhere.

When the Dr returned with my unrelated x-ray, he started asking me if I was coughing a lot or having trouble breathing. I said, "no." He proceeded to tell me I had walking pneumonia! I couldn't believe it. I felt fine and was completely healthy other than the irritation the mold was causing. SO.... The answer is yes. I have had pneumonia (walking) from mold exposure.

Black Mold is know as Stachybotrus Chartarum which is toxic to living things that ingest it. This black mold produces microscopic sized spores that often settle into the sinuses and lungs which does cause Sinusitis and Mycoplasma Pneumonias AKA Walking Pneumonia.

You should hire a mold remediation specialist who has the proper experience and respirators to de-contaminate any dwelling that has Stachybotrus Chartarum.

Even if you aren't allergic to this mold, it is considered Toxic and should be avoided. If it appears on your drywall, it will give the appearance of patches of black Tar. Do not sand it or bump it.

I would say it would my daughter was admitted into the hospital with pnemonia and also found bacteria in her blood. I have had severe headaches put on medication been to every doctor could not figure out why I was gettting headaches also I have a son with a heart condition who has been haveing a hard time breathing well come to find out the whole bathroom vanity was infested with black mold from the shut off valve leaking behind it. I replaces the whole entire thing and ripped out all the dry wall scrub the floor with soft scrub with bleach along with everything in the bathroom sprayed it with lysol and put a container of dam rid in there to absord all the dampness in there

L was diagnoised with walking pneumonia and a sinus infection in january of this year.

Ln our sauna room we have a shower and it leaks when used. This has been going on for over 2 years and when the shower is used it would flood our office as the shower backs up onto one of our office walls. Part of the office wall has deteriorated over time from the water. Our office carpet used to flood.

Yester Friday April 3, we construction workers in taking the old shower out. When they finished for the day l was shocked with what l smelt and saw. The horrible smell of mold was nasty and one the walls where the shower was there was black mold.

Would this be the reason l got sick

I don't know but I have Mold in my mobile home and I just got diagnosed with pneumonia. I just know I can't afford to be sick with this! I evidently have had is for a while because I have been coughing for 2 months and just got diagnosed with this. I think it does but don't quote me on that.

I am 68 years old and I had pneumonia nearly died still have some stuff in my lungs.
I also discovered that the apt. A/c has black mold in the duct-work. A lot of black mold...I don't know if the black mold caused the pneumonia but I never had any pulmonary problems  until I moved into these apartments
I still can't get them to clean out so I am moving!

I have had pneumonia 2 x since working in a sick buiding 40-50 hour week. This building use to have asbestos sand black mole. Supposedly it was cleared out. But the maintenance man told me thee was black mold in the room next to my office and he "scrubbed it out"

Had pneumonia last year, plus since then various 'coughing' episodes. I don't fall into any of the 'risk' groups. I do have a damp house with black mould next to my bed...Saying that, however, at least 2 of my kids have a green nose at any given time,. I wonder if the combination has anything to do with it.

I have pneumonia and am allergic to Mold. I know black mold can be toxic, but not always. I don't know. Cnn has a doctor you can write to on there web site.
