Hi their.
Yes you could still be pregnant, their are many reason why the text is neg.
1. Your hormone level could be 2 high and that will make the test negative.
2. Your hormone levels could be to low and the only way to tell would be going and have a blood test done at the doctors.
3.you could be one of those people that will always get a neg result even though you are pregnant.
4.you took the test to early I would try 1 more test then go to your doctors if still neg.

I'm also going through the exact same thing I'm also 4 weeks late and have 4 neg test I went to see my doctor and he said my hormone levels are to high so I will always get a neg result so I'm booked in for a blood test.

Your best idea would be to go see your doctor.
I hope this helps.

I am 5weeks late for my period, and have some type of cramps like period pain in bottom of belly..and sometimes the pain comes on strong then goes for a few hrs up to a day.  I also have really sore nipples all the time and white speckles on them. I took a test to see if I was pregnant 3weeks ago and said negative....what could be wrong??

Yes you could still be pregnant. Take another test and if you still get a negative result you may want to go the doctor and get a blood test done. You may also just be late from added stress or other emotional or physical changes, if you have regular cycle. If you don't get your cycle after 2 months it is always a good idea to be examined by a medical professional.

I highly, highly doubt you are. I was a month late, had taken 6 HPTs, all negative, and was going to go in for a blood test. Two days later, I got my period. I simply did not ovulate that month, and I was even on birth control. Our bodies are not perfect, and they do not operate the way we expect them to all of the time.
As for your situation, I would test again, wait a week, and then test again. HPTs are 99% accurate, and after 3 or so tests and waiting for the proper amount of time after your late period (say, after 2 weeks), you can be fairly certain the tests are accurate in their reading.
If you do not get your period in 8-10 weeks after your missed period, you should consult your OB/GYN, as there could be an underlying issue that could affect your fertility in the future. Good luck!
