Could also be an ovarian cyst. These can happen when the egg doesn't break through the follicle and is stuck in the wall of the ovary. Ovulation doesn't occur and your period is delayed. They usually resolve on their own, but call your doctor if you have distressing pain on one side or if it lasts more than a week.

Am also four days late and cramping ..... Do  the dollar tree test really work if I take them right now

I am going thru the same problem my period is 4days late....this is supposed to be my second period after chilbirth I have a 2n a hlaf month old baby.....I'm cramping and having some discharge but nothing!! I'm really worried I don't want to b pregnant....I feel leaking like as if I am starting and cramping...I'm hoping I'm just late maybe my periods are irregular since I just had a baby.....

Your period actually changes twice a year.so it could come early or it can be late.pregnancy tests from my experience are very reliable

I would say wait a lil longer take another test  they say you have a lll the pain you do when your going to start I know I shure did I just found out saterday I was pregnant three tests if you didnt take an ept test it wont show or will be so light you can barely see it. Thats how it was saterday I took dollar tree one and then two from dollar general store compare to ept they worked great I have read up and it could be that their not enough HCG in your system take in the morning oh I also found out that drinking to muchh fluid before taken the test deliuts your HCG so don't drink alote before hand and trie that. I took mine threw out the day they where really light but the one I took in the morn was darker so take it in the morning don't drink alote of fluids before bed:) good luck hope this helps let me know:)
