That could indicate some sort of infection. The most common vaginal infection is bacterial vaginosis. Not necessarily sexually transmitted, it occurs when the pH balance in your vaginal environment is thrown off course. But if you experience lower abdominal pain, severe itching and burning, or have any sort of rash, it could be something more serious. If indeed it is bacterial vaginosis, there's a product you can purchase over the counter called RepHresh. It'll normally get the natural environment of your vagina back on track. All the same to be safe and smart, see your doctor.

This can be normal.or you could be ovulating...and this could just be a normal Yeast infection.. I think you may have a yeast infection from what you said.and a yeast infection doesn't have to burn. Or itch some times... Try taking some over The counter cream for it.it should get better.   Good luck  with it..

That sounds like a normal discharge that every female has. It's your bodys way of cleansing it's self. If it thickens or changes color or odor get it checked out.

You said your turning 40 but if this were say for example menopause you would have other symptoms and it doesn't sound like thrush because its causing you no discomfort , I'm assuming you have an long term partner and that if you don't you use contraception ,if so you need to go see your doctor don't you because although it isn't hurting you it is causing you an embarrassment which you shouldn't have to put up with go get it checked out see what can be done take care

Discharge with odor can be due to infection. If odor is like cottage cheese then it is yeast infection, if it is like rotten egg then it is trichomonas infection and if it is fishy then bacterial infection is suspected. Antibiotics for bacterial, metronidazole for trichomonas and anti fungus are used for yeast infection. You should get advice from your doctor. If no odor in fresh discharge and non itching and burning then no need to worry.

Well, odorless white vaginal discharge that does not have any smell and does not cause any pain or itching is completely harmless. It is because of normal bacteria and liquid cells in the vagina. The quantity of discharge is different at different time of the month. So I suppose there is nothing to worry about. As it is completely normal. However, get a check up from a doctor if you are still not satisfied.
