Yes, technically you can take both Tramadol and Benadryl at the same time.

Ask your local doctor for advice before you do, though - as they will have access to your full medical history and current condition, and therefore can make a more educated judgement. (You could also check with your pharmacist.)

Is it safe to mix Tramadol and Benadryl?
  • Tramadol is a pain-killer that is closely related to narcotics, and is usually prescribed to patients who are suffering from mild to severe pain. The medication is extended-release and as such can be used for treatment around the clock.
  • Benadryl is primarily an antihistamine which is used to treat various illnesses. It is used to relieve the symptoms of flu, coughs, rashes, allergies, and hives. It does this by reducing the body's production of histamine - the chemical which is responsible for allergy-like symptoms.
  • Benadryl may also be used as a sleeping aid, and can treat mild forms of Parkinson's disease.
You should always consult your doctor before mixing two medications, as doing so could affect your condition, but in general these two drugs are considered safe to take together.

I would ask your doctor or the pharmacist. They can tell you if these medicines/drugs will have any interactions/bad side-effects if used together. I don't know why you want to mix an allergy medicine with a pain killer though. Since I am not a doctor I would ask the doctor or the pharmacist.
