The recommended age for people to go the a gym is varied. Boys/Girls can start going to a gym at the age of 11, in my personal opinion, if they are doing the treadmill. Children should not be doing weights though only because this stops their growing rate. I'm not talking about 3 pound weights, I'm talking about weight lifting machines, which you shouldn't start till you 18 [recommended age].
It really depends where you live/which gym you use. Most places will allow youth (13-16) to go with an adult. Other places don't let you go at all. In my city, youth (ages 12-15) can take a class on the basics of using fitness equipment and after that, they are aloud to go to the fitness/recreation centers alone (only at certain ones, though). If you're lucky (or not if you dislike youth at your gym) some places let you go alone at around the age of 14...
I think you can start going to the gym at the age of 10 or 11 as long as your parents let you that is!
I think it is good for a kid to start lifting around 10.Lifting is actually good for kids,it helps build muscle and helps there overall heath.It is perfectly safe if they suppervised,and don't go to heavy.Let them lift what they are comortable with though,If they can handle heavier weights let them.They shouldnt lift uness that put interest into this,and they are the ones who want to build muscle.
I Think , a Boy Has 19 years & a Girls Has 17 year . That Age of a person is a perfect Age For go to Gym. Before This Age , If You Will Go to Gym , Then It will Be Pressure In Their Height of Body. So, I Tell To Our Friends .... Please Go To Gym after Majority this Perfect Age... Bye
