The doctor uses a very simple formula which in your case is also used. Add a week plus nine month in the first day of your last period. If you remember the day you ovulate, you can guess the exact date. Here you can't get pregnant in December as you have normal period on 30th Jan 08. You might have conceived at the mid of the Feb 08. Washout any doubts in your mind about December and be careful in future.
