Many times if you have missed a birth control pill or if you have not taken them at the same time every day you will have an early period. It is not impossible to have an early period and it probably nothing to worry about. However, if it continues in future months, you should discuss this with your doctor.
I missed 3 birth control pills this week because I forgot to take them and now I have my period early. Should I keep taking my pills? Or is that dangerous? My friend says if I don't throw them out and keep taking them I'll get 2 periods in 1 month. What should I do?
You are suppose to keep taking your pills or else it will cause you more of a chance to become fertile and have more of a chance to get pregnant. There is nothing wrong with having 2 periods in one month when you are on the pill its totally normal. Just keep taking them as you are suppose to and then try and remember taking your pills. Sometime a good way to remember to take a pill is to set an alarm on a cell phone or a reminder everyday at the same time so when it goes off then you will remember. Thats what my nurse told me when the same thing happened to me. Hope this was useful for you :)
What causes a period to start early while on my birth control?
When you start your period early while on birth-control ( one week early ). Do you stop taking the pill and move to sugar pill?
Birth control tends to send you body through a lot of changes. This is normal.Birth control makes some people have no periods, or it can prolong their periods for more days than usual. Some people have periods for less days than usual. Some people just have spotting for their periods. Some people may bleed heavier than usual. So don't be worried unless you are sick more often
