I fell and fractured my ribs on the left side. I have pain in the rib area, also across the mid area of my stomach. It all started when I fell and damaged the rib. Xrays, MRI, and other tests show no damage, but the pain is so intense. Could it be the nerves, and how long can I expect it to take them to heal?? Thanks

I have nerve damage in the foot. There is no guarantee to any of us how long. But if we increase B -vitamins, exercise because it takes the entire body's health to heal it, then we increase our chances and speed, that is the only certainty.

Recovery of a damaged nerve depends upon type of nerve and degree of damage. There are 2 types nervous system, CNS (central nervous system) and PNS (Peripheral nervous system). CNS includes brain and spinal cord. Damage to the nerves of CNS is not curable.
PNS nerve damage can be cured but depends upon severity and duration of the damage. You have not indicated type of the damaged nerve which you have. Some nerves can regrow automatically but some require surgery.
