Crown to rump length calculates gestational age, accuracy is about +/- 4 days before 12 weeks,

Crown rump length (CRL) measure the length of the human embryo from the head to bottom of the buttock. CRL tells actual age of the embryo with +/- 4 days. Doctors add 2 weeks in this age to calculate gestational age. CRL tell conception date but doctors write in their report gestational age by adding 2 weeks. For more details, visit CRL.
