Yes, it is possible for you to get pregnant at pretty much any time through your cycle, although it is less likely at certain times:
- If you did not use protection, there is always a risk of you getting pregnant through intercourse.
- Even if your boyfriend pulls out before he comes, there is still a chance that you could be pregnant because the fluid that he excretes could still contain sperm.
- If you are worried about this in any way, speak to a doctor or a sexual health clinic nurse. This will be completely confidential.
- Perhaps it would be wise to buy a pregnancy test to see if you are actually pregnant, and take it from there.
- If you are pregnant, then visit your GP and they will be able to give you your available options.
- Contraceptives like the pill and the implant are effective ways of stopping you getting pregnant. Again, speak to your GP for more information.
- If you do not want to risk getting pregnant in the future, consider using a condom, or see your GP about getting one of the forms of contraception mentioned above. This should put your mind at rest about getting pregnant when you have intercourse in the future.
