No people don't smoke to slowly kill themselves because their lives suck they smoke because I like it that only thing about consequences they know about them they just don't care don't smoke to die there is easier ways to kill yourself in fact it's not logical at all I mean it is bad for your health by when people start smoking they don't think about that because most are really young like I said they don't care about the consequences when they realize or start to care about the consequences it's already too late they're addicted
Have you ever thought people smoke to slowly kill themselves because their lives suck? I know that is harsh because when you think about it, smoking is bad for your health and people smoke to die. That seems logical, right? Sorry, if I offend you.
I really don't get the appeal of smoking, I tried it twice and still don't get it but to each they're own. Anyway its a social thing I think, kids see they're parents or older friends smoking and with and age limit on smoking it is seen by kids as a status symbol because they are taught to respect the're elders they in turn will see seeming older as a way to get more respect, I think its why kids these days are in such a rush to grow up. And once they get into it it becomes a habit and the nicotine addiction kicks in.
They smoke because it is addictive for them, and they have different reasons for doing so.the side effect may be early death for some because of lung, skin, brain, bone cancer. But I don't think they plan on dying from something they enjoy at the time for one reason or another, such as thinking it keeps weight off, they fit in with others they hang out with,it settles their nerves,so on and so on. While they are inhaling 150 different chemicals used in the cigarettes to make them addictive.so even though they smoke there is nothing logical about it and they do not intend to die until it's to late after being diagnosed with cancer.as far as their life not being what they thought it should be. From personal experience they had great jobs, their homes were paid off, they had new cars, family of their own.savings in the bank ,retirement planned out so on and so on.so from the outside their lives were in order and they could hardly want or need more from their life.so I don't think logic had anything to do with them smoking somethiong they knew could kill them one day.
You make tht choice..wen you are young or old..to either look cool and good infront of your friends...and some cases you're stressed so you think....why not? And the there you go...addicted...and then you can't stop...sometimes you want too but your tht addicted you can't...8) ppl don't intend to kill themselves wen they smoke....theres easier and more direct ways to kill yourself..but I do agree..YOU SMOKE...I don't see why you shud get free hospital treatment..well over here in the UK anyway.its not fair...you smoke and you get a disease thts your own fault..die peacefully.
I used to think like that. Until I got addicted to tobacco. Tobacco is very addicting and one of the hardest addictions to break. A lot of smokers are always trying to break their habit of smoking, but it's difficult to finally quit. Just one puff of smoke is all it takes for them to return back to it.
My advice for anyone who starts smoking or any tobacco addiction is this: Yes, that nicotine high really does feel good, I enjoy it too. But quit your addiction in your first few months of having it, or you'll spend the next years after trying even harder to quit.
People smoke because they live in the moment. The same as eating unhealthy, drinking too much, driving recklessly, and so on. There are the few who smoke because life sucks and it eases it for them, but mostly it's just because they live in the moment and they like as many feel goods as they can fit in.
