A single cigarette causes a 0.8 cm mutation in the tentacles of the lung.According to recent studies ,this mutation can't be reversed .Those who smoke frequently are actually changing the fresh tentacles to burnt ones. But still it is not really taken for granted so please check other opinions.
I hope I helped you:)

Bugger all!!! I have been giving up smoking for a while now, and may stik to it. But there is no conclusive evidence that smoking kills. It just enhances certain genes in certain people. Like if youve got a gene in your body that will give you cancer 1 day, smoking enhances that, same as if your prone to organ diseases. Smoking just speeds up the process. If you havent got those certain genes passed down , chances are smoking will not kill you. There is no exclusive proof that smoking kills. Its down to your body and your timeline in life(scientists just blame cigs as they don't understand the human body or how cigs affect each and everybody, because every1 is diffrent.. So if you wana smoke don't let any1 tell you not to.
