Endometriosis is growth of endometrial tissue outside the uterus but inside the pelvis. Its symptoms are Pain before and during periods, pain at the time of ovulation (mittelschmrez syndrome), pain during passing stool and urination, heavy periods, and infertility.
Diagnosis of the endometriosis is made by pelvic examination, ultrasound, blood test and laparoscopy. Differentiation of pain due to endometriosis and dysmenorrhea is difficult and only expert doctor can differentiate. You should visit a doctor for proper investigations and treatment of your problems.

I know just how you feel I have endometriosis and its nothing funny about it.  I have lots of pain that is sometimes just unbearable. I cramp each month like crazy and not to mention the nausea the pain in my lower pelvic area a heavy periods.  My dr put me on birthcontrol pills to see if it would help, but its hasn't
hope that much this month.  This month to me was horrible, cramps heavy periods and hurting so bad that it was hard to sleep just like you said.  One thing that might help you with the pain instead off taking pain pills is I soak in a hot tub of water, this help some.  Hope this helps

Yes Take care and if you are not pleased with the care your dr is giving you find another on that will listen. I had to go to 2 other Drs before I finally found on that would listen to me and not tell me It's all in your head. You know your body they don't have to go thru this every month or every day. Take care and let me know what you find out.
