Every women's menstrual cycle is unique--however that is a long cycle. If this is normal for you and you don't experience any discomfort I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just talk to your healthcare provider at your next annual checkup. If this is not normal--call your healthcare provider. It could be the side effect of some medication or another problem.
There are ways to eliminate and/or better regulate to make periods shorter. Generally this is through using hormonal contraceptives (the pill, mini pill, patch, vaginal ring, shots, IUD, and implant). Talk to your healthcare provider to see which, if any, would be right for you.
