Childbirth is extremely painful due to the stretching of the cervix and the pelvic. You do not have to worry about how your pelvis will stretch during labour as it is a natural process.
There are two stages of labour pain. In the first stage the cervix (opening of the uterus) opens slowly. At this point you will feel pain in the abdomen and back and you will feel contractions at frequent intervals. This contraction is called labour pain. When you go into the second stage of labour, the cervix is open completely and the baby makes its way out through the vagina. At this point, the pain will move down to your pelvic and vaginal area. The perineum (area between the vagina and the anus) stretches and you might get a burning feeling in this area as the baby's head is being delivered.
