Can A Tooth Infection Cause Seizures?

I never had a seizure until 1 week after I had my bottom right wisdom tooth extracted. I got dry socket then an infection, then I had to go back to a different dentist when I got back home to have the rest of the tooth removed. Can this be the reason that I have two or more seizures for the last 7 months

Have you found out anthing about your seizures? I started getting seizures 3 yrs ago and never thought about it having to do w/my wisdom teeth but i have problems w/my wisdom teeth and have not had them removed? Iam thinking maybe it could be my teeth..my mouth is too small and i always have problems w/them...iam on meds for my seizures and have had mri done w/nothing found...???

I just today had one of my wisdom teeth extracted, and directly after, had my first seizure ever. The tooth had been severely infected and causing me excruciating pain for months. They called paramedics and wanted to have me hospitalized, but I feel fine now. I am convinced this isolated incident(seizure) was because of the extraction.....
