It sounds like you are worried. Did you have a bad experience in the past? If the pregnancy is far enough along you would feel movement and then that would stop. If you are not far enough along you will not know until your body starts to reject the dead embryo or fetus and you start having bleeding and cramping. It is best for the health of the baby that you try to relax. If something happens early in the pregnancy that usually means there was something wrong with the baby. Take a deep breath and relax enjoy your pregnancy and in no time you will have a beautiful baby to hold.

I know a lady this happened to, and she didn't know, they found it out, so they took the baby. It was like a death in the family for them. I pray this doesn't happen to you. It isn't a great thing to go through. Please make sure to take care of yourself. Hope this helps, good luck to you.

Though this is rare, and if you are growing just fine, there is nothing to be concerned about.  Sometimes, baby inside is tired from all that growing and will stay quiet as it regenorates, much like us when we sleep.  If there is no activity at all, not even growth or weight gain, then get to doctor. They either will use monitor to check heart rate or ultrasound.  Please do not scare yourself silly until you have been checked out by doctor

How severe is the flu?  Did you go for an ultrasound yet?  Do you have the people & surrounding around you to support your lifestyle?  How are you living?
