Itching inside your vagina walls could be down to a number of causes that range from not at all serious to quite serious.
One of the most likely things is that this is a sexually-transmitted disease. This would be the most likely and most cause of an itchy vagina. Numerous STDs have itching symptons including Gonnorea, Chlamydia and genital warts.
The best thing to do in this case is to go to a medical advisor and get this checked out. A doctor will have a look and take test and determine what it is. They see this kind of thing every day so there will be no stigma attached in going and getting a sexual health check up
There is also the chance you have a thrush infection. This is a yeast infection and can sometimes be caused by soap products among other things. This is not fatal but may result in a milky discharge and an uncomfortable feeling. It is easily treated with creams and antibiotics.
Most STDs can be prevented with a condom. If you go to doctors they will usually give you free condoms and in many cases vagina itching will be the least of your worries when you have an unwelcome pregnancy or worse again HIV. These are a lot more serious than the average STD.
However, the likes of gonnorea, Chlamydia and genital warts can have severe repercussions if they are not treated including infertility which is a very serious risk with Chlamydia and is worse as symptoms may not necessarily be obvious.
The best thing to do is to go immediately to your local sexual health clinic or visit your doctor as they can tell you exactly what it is you have and how to treat it quickly and effectively.

Yes. It is probably a yeast infection, which causes very uncomfortable itching around the vagina. It also causes a think discharge. The itch is very uncomfortable and actually makes you want to take a brush or something to it. You can find a cure at your local supermarket or go to your doctor and ask for Fluconazole. Its a single pink pill that gets rid of a yeast infection within 24 hours. Side effects are: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, upset stomach, headache and dizziness. Take with or without food. If the condition does not clear up after you take this or any other yeast infection treatment, contact your doctor.

Itching can be just an infection and it can also go worst. The best solution is the complete check up. Consult some gynecologist; she will advise you a proper treatment.

I my self have expierence the same sensation.. Yes it could be a yeast infection, but it could also be from shaving as well.. I noticed a couple of days later (after shavin) that my vagina would itch, with a little burning sensation as well. I went to the doctor and they could'nt find anything wrong with me.. From further observation I pin pointed down to shaving... I think it has something to do with the hairs growin back in. That can cause irritation, burning, and itching. Hope that helped

Yes, itching on the inside vaginal walls can be an infection. A yeast infection could be an explanation to the itching as well. I suggest you consult this problem of yours with a doctor before it gets bad.
